After more than 25 years in the title insurance industry, I, Ash Selle, saw firsthand how distressed homeowners needed compassionate solutions while ethical investors sought a trusted, neutral party to guide them through complex real estate transactions. As a single mom turned CEO, I built my career in a field that has long been dominated by men. My journey wasn’t without obstacles, I experienced being treated as a minority in my own company, where others held decision-making power while I was showcased as the 'woman-owned' face. That experience became my turning point. From those ashes, Phoenix Closing Co. was born a company that is truly woman-owned, independent, and committed to doing business differently. At Phoenix Closing Co., we specialize in investor-friendly closings while providing solutions for distressed homeowners navigating divorce, loss, domestic abuse, legal, or financial hardship. More than a business, this is a mission: to deliver relief, restore hope, and create new beginnings. The name Phoenix symbolizes our story rising stronger after adversity and empowering others to do the same. Beyond closings, we are committed to mentoring future women in real estate, giving back to our communities, and supporting causes such as domestic abuse shelters and homelessness relief. With more than 25 years of experience in the title insurance industry, Ashley is the driving force behind Phoenix Closing Co. She built her career as an investor-friendly closer, specializing in complex transactions with compassion and precision. As a single mom turned CEO, Ashley founded Phoenix Closing Co. with a mission to empower homeowners and investors alike while creating opportunities for women in real estate.
Megan Willman — Director of Strategic Growth & Community Relations | Executive Closing Assistant
In her role, she helps strengthen Phoenix Closing Co., internal structure by building and maintaining systems to support the company.
Beyond internal organization, Megan contributes to business development by managing and training team members while ensuring smooth task management and timely project completion across departments.
She also leads the company’s community and relationship-building initiatives—serving as a key liaison with donors, partners, and community organizations. Megan oversees grant-writing efforts, particularly in collaboration with domestic violence programs and outreach.
